Mr. Alaa AbdulHaleem
A former student of Al-Azhar and a fluent English speaker with certified expertise in Arabic-English translation and literature
About Me
Alaa AbdulHaleem is a former student of Al-Azhar and a fluent English speaker with certified expertise in Arabic-English translation and literature. He memorized the entire Qur’an at the age of 10, building a deep connection with classical Arabic from an early age.
He has over two years of experience teaching both Arabic and English to students of all ages, both genders, and those with learning difficulties or anxiety—both online and in-person. His strong background in psychology allows him to adapt his approach to suit different personalities and needs, ensuring every student feels supported and capable.
He has helped around 100 students in both group and one-on-one settings achieve measurable progress—especially beginners who started with little to no experience. His students have shown exceptional development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through his patient, structured, and encouraging teaching style.
Alaa’s method avoids reliance on direct translation, focusing instead on immersive language learning, while using English strategically when necessary—particularly in the early stages. His goal is not only to teach the language, but to build his students’ confidence, consistency, and love for learning.
